The 3 P's - Premier Picks and Ponderings (MW 28)

So who the hell am I.......name is Philly Pete. Yes, I am late to the game, but think of me as the super sub, a modern-day Olivier Giroud, Jermaine Defoe or a robot dancing Crouchie here to boost your bankroll over the final weeks of the season before the Euros start on June 12th with Turkey vs. Italy.

Premier Picks

1) Norwich City (+340) @ Leicester City (-130) Draw (+310)

-Norwich hasn't scored a goal in their last 3 fixtures.

-Jaime Vardy hasn't scored since 2019.

-One of these is going to give and it will be Vardy scoring a double.

Pick: Leicester City 2-0 (-130)

2) Southampton (+150) @ West Ham United (+170) Draw (+260)

-West Ham is winless in 7 straight fixtures, relegation looming and desperate for a good showing at home.

-Southampton looking for revenge from a 1-0 defeat on 12/21 at St. Mary's have been in good form in away fixtures vs. mid/low table teams

-Recipe for a hard-nosed gritty 90 minutes.

Pick: Draw 1-1 (+260)

3) Wolves (+210) @ Tottenham (+140) Draw (+200)

-1pt separates these two that are jockeying for that coveted Champions League spot

-Tottenham have a severe lack of goal-scoring threats with Son added to the laundry list of injured players

-Jimenez, Jota and a solid Wolves backline will be too much for a Spurs parked bus.

Pick: Wolves 1-0 (+210)

Ponderings

1) Is Sergio Ramos the dirtiest player of his generation?

Probably. He almost broke Messi's leg, the Salah shoulder injury, and just received his 26th red card vs Man City for a foul on Gabriel Jesus - although he should be furious at Casemiro for that terrible pass. That being said, he has never been sent off while representing Spain, which I didn't believe at first but is true. The internet is a wonderful place to see numerous youtube videos dedicated and determined to show how dirty he really is.

2) Which 3 Premier League Teams will be relegated?

Norwich City's fate is already sealed.

Bournemouth too many tough games down the stretch

West Ham or Aston Villa - last game of the season at London Stadium - winner stays up, loser goes down, draw both go down. #HotTake

3) Wat* about Watford?

Nigel Pearson completes the great escape, finishes in 17th and is brought back for the 20/21 season.

Author: Philly Pete lives in Philadelphia, quite the clever nickname. Premier League fan of Tottenham, Southampton, and Aston Villa - random for sure and all for very different reasons. I have been to an EPL game in England, unbelievable experience and can't wait to go back.
